Mozart's 270th birthday and the 70th Mozartwoche, captured on the night for two very different destinations: a live stream on Deutsche Grammophon's STAGE+ and a broadcast on ORF 2 four days later. Opera sound had to be natural and full while every microphone stayed out of shot — hidden lav mics and built-in stage mics only — with constant lighting changes staged for the audience, not the cameras.
We handled the whole AV production: technical and crew planning, concept, camera script and post. Our mobile rig went in — Merging Horus, Schoeps Colette, DiGiCo console, Bricasti M7, Geithain monitors — and the sound, video edit, grade and export ran on one tightly interlocked workflow to make an unusually short post schedule possible.
A live stream and a broadcast master delivered on time and without compromise, with Mozarteumorchester Salzburg under Roberto González-Monjas and Rolando Villazón's staging carried by a sound that still reads as opera, not television.
